Yuhan Chemical is a major subsidiary of Yuhan Corporation, which
has strived to realize the noble foundational philosophy of the founder,
Dr. Ilhan New, who has been respected as a pioneer in education, an
independence activist and a committed social entrepreneur. Yuhan Chemical was founded in 1980 and has continued to evolve to
a top-level pharmaceutical company which supplies world-class APIs to
domestic and global pharmaceutical companies. The cGMP manufacturing facilities and quality system established by
Yuhan Chemical was certified to be complying with the quality
standards of regulatory agencies of the advanced countries such as the U.S. FDA, European EDQM and Japanese PMDA. We have established ourselves as a global API manufacturer by
exporting APIs to pharmaceutical companies in advanced countries and firmly maintained our position as the best API manufacturer in Korea. We have continued to grow as a company and won the ‘$100 million
export award’ in 2015. Furthermore, we have secured a foundation for
future growth by constructing a second plant in Hwaseong. In addition to our external growth, we have established a cutting edge
IT-based quality system to provide more value to our clients. And we
are managing our businesses to fulfill our responsibilities for the safety
and the environment as part of a sustainable management strategy,
